You Don’t Need New Ideas Every Week

You Need a Signature Reel

They’ll make your content life way easier

A few weeks back, I introduced the concept of Signature Reels — if you missed it, click here to read the blog post.

Think of Signature Reels as your go-to content styles.
They’re your creative shortcut. Your repeatable system. Your “I’ve got this” moment every time you open Instagram.

The goal?
Find your style, get super pro at it, and stick with it.
Because that’s how you simplify Reels creation, and turn the process from chaotic to streamlined (and maybe even... fun?).

But first — why do you even need Signature Reels?

One word: ease.

You already know your products inside out. You’re amazing at your business.
Now it’s time to bring that same energy to your content.

When you’ve got a few go-to Reels styles in your back pocket, you eliminate:

  • The “what should I post?” stress

  • The guessing game of how to film

  • The overwhelm of starting from scratch every time

Practice makes perfect.
(Overused, yes. But also true.)

And let’s be real, your favourite brands and creators?
They likely do repeat the same few formats. That’s not lazy — it’s smart brand building.

So how do you find your Signature Reels?

Here’s your step-by-step guide:

1. Start with your Insights.
Look at what’s worked best in the past.
Don’t just focus on likes — check saves and shares. That’s where the gold is.

2. Study your favourite brands and creators.
What do they post that you love?
Take notes — but always bring it back to what works for your product and style.

3. Choose 2–3 Reel styles that feel doable.
Not 10. Just 2 or 3. Then start posting them weekly.

4. Repeat weekly — and watch what happens.
After a few weeks, it’ll feel natural.
Less stress. More flow. That’s the magic of repeatable content.

5. Keep checking Insights and tweaking.
You’ll learn what your audience loves — and you’ll keep refining along the way.

6. Be consistent (but realistic).
Find a posting rhythm that’s sustainable.
No one wins if you burn out in 3 months.

Final tip? Add your signature touch.

This is the fun bit.
What’s something uniquely you that you can add to your Reels?

For me? I love a good twirl at the end of my videos 😆
I speed it up, then slow-mo walk off screen. Don’t judge — I love a twirl.

It’s small, but it’s me. And over time, those little touches become part of your brand.

Let me know what Signature Reels you’re working on — or tag me in one of yours. I’d love to see it!
