Let’s be real. You didn’t start a fashion biz to make Reels every day.
Your stress-free guide to batching, the fashion biz way
Hey fashpreneurs 👋
Struggling to stay on top of content creation? Feel like every week you’re starting from scratch with Reels, captions, and zero time?
Let’s change that, in a way that feels actually doable.
I’m not going to throw another “just batch your content” lecture at you.
Instead, here’s how to create 4 weeks of content your way, using a system that’s easy to follow and easy to stick with — even when biz life gets chaotic.
Step 1: Plan 4 Weeks at a Time
Work ahead — just one month. Not 3, not 12. Four weeks is the sweet spot.
The goal? Know what you’re posting before you need to post it.
Step 2: Stick to a Simple Weekly Outline
Start with something light like:
✔️ 2 Reels
✔️ 2 Carousels
Of those 4 posts:
At least 1 is connection content (BTS, funny moments, raw truth, chaos, talking heads, etc.)
The other 3 can focus more on selling — showing off your product in fun, scroll-stopping ways.

Step 3: Lean on Your Signature Reels
This is where batching gets powerful.
When you’ve got 2–3 Signature Reel styles, creating content becomes plug & play.
Swap in new products, keep the format the same, and boom — you’re ready to go.
Step 4: Create Your Carousels
You don’t need fancy graphics.
Just gather 3–4 photos per post: product shots, customer photos, styled flatlays.
Tip: tell a story with your Carousel. Start with a full body/outfit shot, then with each slide show more specific product details, explaining something about your product and how it will your customer feel, why they need to be wearing that product.
E.g. a beautiful soft cardi for those autumn days. Like silk against your skin, you’ll be so thankful Autumn is here!
Step 5: Caption Time (Don’t Skip This!)
Once your visuals are ready, batch your captions.
⚡ This is where your messaging comes in.
Don’t just describe your product — speak to your ideal customer.
Why should they care?
What are they feeling today?
How does your post inspire them or make them feel seen?
(I’ve got a full blog post coming soon on writing killer captions — stay tuned.)
Step 6: Use a Content Tracker
Log it all in a spreadsheet — what’s done, what’s ready to go, what still needs captions.
Want my exact content tracker? You can download it at the end of this blog post, totally free! Built beautifully in Canva, and ready to use with a few examples pre-filled.
Step 7: Schedule It and Forget It
Use Instagram’s built-in scheduler (or Meta Business Suite) to schedule all 4 weeks of posts.
Then breathe — because your content is done.
All that’s left? Show up in Stories most days.
💡 Tip: Keep Stories personal and spontaneous.
Wearing your product? Snap it.
Morning walk? Take us with you.
Packing orders? Do a quick voiceover video.
It doesn’t need to be curated — it needs to be you.
All You Need Is 2 Days a Month
Seriously. Either block 2 full days or 4 half-days each month. (Don’t fret if it takes longer in the beginning, keep it up, make it a habit, and you’ll soon be a streamlined batching pro.)
Once it becomes a habit, you’ll love knowing your content is done — and your headspace is clear for the rest of your business.
